Formed in 1971 as the Holywell & District Angling Society, now known as Holywell Anglers, the club rents three waters from Mostyn Estates. Over the past few years, all three waters have had a program of investment and regular stocking.

Membership for Holywell Anglers is available on an annual basis, running from 1st April to 31st March each year.
There are 3 types of memberships:
Membership Rates for 2026
- 8-15 years: Free with an Adult Member
- Junior (16-17): £35
- Senior (18-64): £120
- Concessionary: £90
(Pension age / Registered Disabled)
- Please note for new members there is a one off joining fee.
- Juniors £10
- Seniors £55
- Concessionary £35
